Our jv 8 ran a phantastic race and made first place. Overtook many
boats and looked strong the entire race.

2009 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday October 24, 2009

Dear RGCC Parents,

we have 3 boats on the river at the 2009 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta:

Event: 07. Womens High School Non-Varsity/Lower Boats Eights (Under 19):

Scheduled start at 11:00am

Bow 00725: Radnor High School Crew (Sidney Cantor)


Event: 13. Womens High School First and Second Varsity Eights (Under 19):
Scheduled to start at 3:05pm

Bow 01309: Radnor High School Crew (Kelsey Flail)

Bow 01327: Radnor High School Crew (Liz Mazanek)

These are head races, but this year the organizers decided to start the boats in pairs, so you will get a sense of relative speed.

Racing

Girls racing... They had a good race and seem content with their 19
out of 77 placing. As they should be!! The weather was absolutely
miserable, windy cold and raining. They passed 6 boats, and dodged
crashes in front of them. They are set up for an even better finish
next year!!!
